We're looking for a founding-level systems architect to lead the design of Plasma's platform as a whole, reporting to our CTO. You'll decide how agents are created, coordinated, governed, and recorded, and how those pieces fit together as Plasma grows.

You've been the technical lead on a large production system and still function as an individual contributor. The role is both research and product: you'll work out how systems of agents should be structured, and turn those designs into the platform customers run on.

What You'll Work On

• Architecture: Define the parts of Plasma's platform and the interfaces between them: how agents run, communicate, share knowledge, and stay within their limits

• Design Review: Lead design reviews and write the documents that record why each decision was made

• Enterprise Integration: Design how Plasma integrates with customers' systems, including their identity providers and data rules

• Scaling: Find the limits of the current design before customers do, and plan the changes

• Building: Write and review production code for the parts of the platform you design

What We're Looking For

• A track record as the technical lead on large production systems that other teams built on

• Depth across distributed systems, data systems, and security

• Experience with enterprise integration: SSO, permissions, data residency

• Clear technical writing

• Exceptional judgment about when to build, when to buy, and when to keep it simple
