AI is crossing a threshold. Systems of agents can now do consequential work unattended, for hours at a time, and most companies still lack the layer that would let them trust it. We come from places where autonomy already carried real stakes. Our founders built Omega Strategies, an autonomous trading firm that ran hundreds of probabilistic models against live capital. The team's experience spans Palantir, Subquadratic, D. E. Shaw, J.P. Morgan, Google, TPG, and Morgan Stanley, founding-team startup experience, and more.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a full-stack product engineer to own features end to end, from the data model and API to the interface a customer touches. You'll work directly alongside our founders and be responsible for turning what customers need into what Plasma ships.

Plasma's users are technically demanding operators of autonomous systems, and there is still a lot of room to shape and grow what Plasma is. We're looking for the kind of engineer who thrives closest to the customer: a forward-deployed generalist who takes an ambiguous, high-stakes problem and carries it through to working software.

What You'll Work On

• End-to-End Features: Design, build, and ship complete product features across the stack: backend services, data models, APIs, and the UI on top of them

• Customer Problems: Sit close to users, understand their workflows firsthand, and turn ambiguous needs into scoped, shipped functionality

• Agent-Facing Workflows: Build the surfaces where operators configure, supervise, and act on autonomous AI systems

• Product Ownership: Make the calls on what ships now versus later, and carry features through polish and iteration after launch

• Velocity: Prototype in days to learn, then harden what works into production-quality software

What We're Looking For

• Strong full-stack engineering: TypeScript and React on the frontend, plus real backend depth in API design, data modeling, and production databases like Postgres

• A track record of shipping products users depend on, taking features from zero to launched with minimal handoffs

• Product sense: you ask why before how, talk to users directly, and cut scope without cutting quality

• You build with AI every day (coding agents, LLM APIs) and have informed opinions about where they help; hands-on work with LLM-powered features or agent frameworks is a plus

• Experience in forward-deployed, product engineering, or founding-engineer roles where engineers own the customer problem, not just the code. Former founders are very welcome
